The tomato harvest is approaching - the ideal time to provide the tomato plants with all the important nutrients for fruiting.

Shortly before harvest, your tomato plant needs sufficient nutrients again

Any hobby gardener with tomatoes in their garden is probably looking forward to the harvest of the aromatic little fruits that have been raised with so much care and love over the past few months.

Fertilize tomatoes one last time before harvest

But before the tomatoes can be harvested, many tomato varieties have to be supplied with sufficient nutrients one last time. The last growth phase costs the tomato plants a lot of energy. Consequently, the quality of the fruit (in terms of size and aroma) will benefit enormously if you fertilize one last time. Deficiency symptoms such as blossom end rot (brown spots in the lower part of the tomato) are also avoided.

When choosing a fertilizer, it is important not to simply rely on "any" product. At Plantura, we have searched intensively for fertilizers that meet our requirements for our beloved plants, nature and wildlife. Unfortunately, we have not been 100% convinced of any of the products available so far. This prompted us to develop our own fertilizer in 2015. After many months of hard work and field trials, we would like to introduce you to our Plantura Organic Tomato Fertilizer.

The last growth phase costs the tomato plants a lot of strength
