Summer grave design is a challenge for many

Grave planting in summer presents many relatives with special challenges: not only do the beautiful flowers from the grave design fade in spring, but the warm temperatures also mean that the bed has to be watered regularly so that the plants don't wilt or even wilt enter. Nevertheless, the grave design should be stylish and beautiful even in summer - fortunately, with the right choice of plants, this is not that difficult. We will show you which plants are best suited for grave planting in summer and what else you need to pay attention to when designing the grave.

Grave planting for the summer: You should pay attention to this

Especially in summer, the choice of plants is of crucial importance: Due to the warm temperatures and the intense sunlight, many plants quickly wither and thus no longer do justice to a dignified grave design. Anyone who cannot find time to care for the grave several times a week should therefore pay particular attention to the choice of the right plants - these not only make a grave easy to care for, but also keep it looking beautiful for a long time. Particular attention should be paid to the robustness and water requirements of the plants. Plants that are susceptible to disease or pests are not as suitable for grave design as plants that are characterized by a particularly low water requirement. Flowering plants should also shine with a long flowering period and self-cleaning: If the plants fade or the faded remains on the plant if it is not removed by hand, it takes almost daily care to keep the grave tidy. Instead, you should rely on relatively easy-care grave plants from the start in summer.

If you don't have time,to water regularly, should be careful when choosing grave plants

In order for the grave planting to be successful for the summer, planting should begin as early as mid-May. The planting should be completed by the end of June at the latest - if the plants are planted later, it may happen that they no longer have time to develop enough roots before the summer heat and therefore die quickly. After planting, each plant should then be watered thoroughly once. Alternatively, the root ball of the plant can also be sufficiently watered once before planting. In order to guarantee that the rich blooms not only beautify the bed for a short time, but for the whole summer, you should use a fertilizer with a depot effect - the flowers are always optimally supplied with nutrients thanks to the gradual release of nutrients, without you having to fertilize additionally. Here, for example, our Plantura organic fertilizers with long-term effects are ideal.
