Fuchsias are unfortunately often not hardy in our latitudes. We have compiled a list for you here of varieties that also survive our winters without any problems.

Fuchsias (Fuchsia) are native to warm Central and South America and New Zealand. The winters here often become a struggle that the flowering plants simply cannot cope with. But even among these exotic species there are wild species and cultivars that are hardy and, with appropriate winter protection, are happy to withstand -15 °C. We introduce you to fuchsia varieties that you can easily plant in the bed and whose flowers you can look forward to year after year.
Whether standing varieties for planting in beds and for pots or semi-hanging varieties for balcony boxes and hanging baskets: fuchsias also offer the right hardy variety for every purpose. You have the advantage that, with appropriate protection, you can look forward to your colorful fuchsias every winter gardening season. We introduce you to the most beautiful hardy varieties.
