We at Plantura love Easter and will therefore show you four special ideas for creating extraordinary Easter eggs yourself.

Easter is just around the corner and the most beautiful thing about it is and will always be the Easter egg! Especially coloring the eggs is fun for the whole family. So that you don't just paint the same thing with bare paint, we'll show you four unusual ideas for designing your Easter eggs differently. These are easy to try at home.

Decorate eggs with egg shells

As simple as this idea is, it is all the more unusual.

  1. You should take a white egg and have the shell of a brown one ready. Of course, it also works the other way around if you simply use a brown egg and white shells.
  2. Then gently break the shell of the brown (or white) egg into small pieces.
First, break up the eggshell into small pieces.
  1. Now take a normal craft glue and carefully glue the fragments onto the other white (or brown) egg. Let your creativity run free.
Glue the fragments to the egg.
  1. Then let it dry for about 3 minutes.
  2. Now you can coat your egg with a clear varnish and let it dry. Et voila! Your personal cracked-shell egg is ready!
Now coat the egg with clear varnish and let it dry.

Coloring eggs with colored tissue paper

  1. Have a white egg and colored tissue paper of your choice ready.
Have a sponge, a white egg and your choice of colored tissue paper ready
  1. First moisten the egg with a small sponge.
Wet the egg with a sponge.
  1. You can also briefly moisten the tissue paper with water before sticking it onto the egg with the damp sponge. Pick the colors you like the most. There are no limits to your creativity here.
  2. The next step is to let the tissue paper dry for about 3 minutes.
  1. Now carefully peel off the paper. Et voila! Your personal tissue paper egg is ready!
Carefully peel off the dried tissue paper at the end.

The Tie Egg

  1. Take a white egg, an old white fabric and an old, colorful tie. You're bound to find one in the depths of Grandpa's closet. You will also need a small pot and a vinegar essence.
  2. Cut the tie like a scarf and put the egg inside. Make sure your egg is covered with the color side of the tie.
  3. The whole thing is now tied together like a lavender bag with a rubber band.
  1. In the next step, take the white fabric and cut it out so that you can wrap the egg in your bag. The white fabric is then also tied together with an elastic.
Cut out an old white fabric.
  1. Now put the bag in a pot. Fill it with water and add a good dash of vinegar essence. Make sure the egg is completely covered.
  2. Let this cook for about 5 minutes.
Put the egg in a saucepan with water and vinegar essence and bring to the boil.
  1. Carefully remove the bag, let it cool down and then carefully unwrap your egg. Et voila! Your very personal tie egg is ready!
Carefully unwrap the egg.

The Wax Egg

  1. Have a white egg and your choice of colored small candles. We decided to use the leftover birthday candles.
Take a white egg and have colored candles ready.
  1. Light the candle you want to start with and gently drip the wax onto the egg.
  2. Let the wax dry before you decide on the next candle.
  1. Let your creativity run free and drip as many colors on your egg as you want. The result will delight you
  2. At the end you can add a holder for your egg, but of course you don't have to. Et voila! Your very personal wax egg is ready!
