Evergreens live up to their name and retain their foliage even in winter. So they add some color to the garden all year round.

If you decide to enrich your garden with an evergreen plant, you don't have to think that the choice is limited to firs and cypresses. There are many plants that keep their foliage year-round, or at least most of the year. In evergreen shrubs and woody plants, the foliage is constantly renewed and the exchange of leaves goes almost unnoticed. Thus, they can provide privacy protection, grow over walls and walls or just be a nice eye-catcher.
The evergreen plants only replace their old foliage with new ones in spring. Semi-evergreen specimens, on the other hand, lose some of their foliage in winter. The rest will follow in the spring when the shoots begin to sprout.
