'Auriga' is one of the rare German varieties and originated in the former GDR. Originally from Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anh alt, she was bred by Dr. martin stone It went on sale in 1980 and is still an integral part of the orange tomato varieties.

Auriga is an ideal tomato for outdoors, as it is resistant to bursting and is not very susceptible to fungal diseases. Even without rain protection, it delivers high yields and requires little care. It feels just as comfortable in a large pot as it does in a bed and does well there, even in less sheltered locations.

Care for Auriga Tomato

The first fertilization should take place after three weeks at the latest, because now the plants have grown well and have formed many new roots.
